We really like this new design. It has a sleeker look and has the same commemorative ribbon and flag (see the photos below) along with the Nike swoosh logo. Check out how the “Salute to Service” patch on the chest is detachable so you can replace it with a nameplate patch in place of a soldiers name! This would really add a personal touch with what will already be a treasured gift for a spouse, son, daughter (women’s Salute to Service hoodies are available as well), etc…
You will undoubtedly want to see the military tribute flag and ribbon patches before making a purchase. Here we have some high quality images where you can see the professional embroidery that will be durable and long lasting.
Here is an up close pic of the flag patch that is embroidered on the sleeve! It may appear that the flag is backwards but that is the way that is meant to be. The reversed American Flag patch symbolizes the flag flying in the breeze as you move forward.
